Who Are We ?

What is IVSA ?

International Veterinary Students’ Association that was founded in 1953 in Denmark is an international students organization that has specialized studies for veterinarian education, veterinary public health, internships and exchange programs.

IVSA Elazığ

IVSA Elazığ was formally founded in the second week of September 2014.

With the results of studies that were started in May 2014, it was formally founded with the voting after the presentations in the 63. International Veterinary Students’ Association Congress in Indonesia between the days 28th July-9th August.

Our main missions are;

• Making veterinary students feel like a part of the whole and including them in academic studies with the exchanges within and outside the country,
• With organizing national and international congress’, contributing on our students vocational development with different professionals,
• Contributing on faculty students’ foreign languages with language courses (especially English),
• Teaching students scientific literacy and stronghen their ties with literature with TÜBİTAK undergraduate student programs (e.g. 2209-A)
• Participating in works (congress, symposium, workshop…) of IVSAs to support them.
• Making veterinary workshops online (youtube) using digital instruments of the new digital era and being able to follow news all around the world.
• Improving friendship, sharing and colleagueship with social programs.
• Improving the name and the vision of the veterinary medicine with all these activities.
